Uploading your design:

Whilst we would love to help with technical support, we are unable to do so due to so many different TV models, however, we have provided some available information below which may be of assistance to you for using this art frame on different TV units, not just the Smart Frame TV’s but also general Smart TV’s as a ScreenSaver.

Samsung SmartThings App:

1. Create a new folder in your camera roll albums, we recommend naming it “Art” or "Frame TV".
2. Open the Smart View app (or Samsung’s free SmartThings app).
3. Select your TV Device.
4. Select “My Collection” or "Art mode" (to view photos saved in your device).
5. Select "Add Your Photos".
6. Locate your new “Art” or “Frame TV” Album.
7. Go to the new image you want to use, select it and choose “Send to Art Mode” or (tap on the three-dot button in the top right corner and click on “Save to the Frame”).
8. Select “Matte” option.
9. Click “Set On Frame”.

NOTE:  If downloading images from phone, connect Frame TV to the same wifi network as your mobile device (or navigate to the Connected Device Menu, then select the drive).

How do I make my Samsung frame look like Art?

 Select the “Home” button.

1. Select General and Eco settings.
   1. Set Ambient Light Detection to off.
   2. Check other settings as required.
2. In the menu on the left-hand side, select “Art Mode”
3. On the right-hand side of the “Art Mode” screen, scroll to the bottom.
4. Here you can choose settings such as “Motion Detection”, “Sleep After” and “Night Mode”.

You don’t need an expensive Frame TV to make your TV look like art on a wall.  All you need is a smart TV (which is pretty much all TV’s these days) and your TV will look beautiful too.

Option 1:  Use TV Art as a Screensaver:

Option 2:  Display Art on a TV using YouTube.

OPTION 1:

 1.A  Use TV Art as a Screensaver:

The steps you follow for displaying digital art on your TV will depend o what type of smart TV you have and the exact setting menus, etc., change regularly.  If the exact directions below don’t work for you, I hope they still provide you with enough of a framework to figure it out, even if your menu options are slightly different.

1. How to Display Art on a Fire TV:

Download the Amazon Photos iOS or Android app or sign in on the web browser.  It may be easier to use the web browser, especially since you are purchasing and downloading the digital art on your computer anyway.

1. Log in to the Amazon Photos and upload the art piece or pieces you have chosen. I recommend putting them in a folder labelled “TV Art”.
2. Next, go into the settings on your Fire TV. Click on “Display & Sounds” and then scroll down until you see “Screensaver”.
3. Then click on “Screensaver” and select “TV Art” (or whatever you named your folder).
4. Last, choose your display settings. I recommend setting it to come on after 5 minutes and turn off the Smart Captions, Alexa hints and Date & Clock, so that when the art is displayed, there aren’t any text or messages displayed over it.

1.B  How to Add Art to a Chromecast TV:

1. Upload the art piece or pieces you have chosen to a gallery in Google Photos.
2. Open the Google Home app on your phone.
3. Choose your Chromecast device.
4. Click “Settings”, then “Ambient Mode > Art Gallery (or whatever you may have named your file).

1.C  How to Add Art to a Roku TV:

1. Upload the art piece or pieces you have chosen to a gallery in Google Photos.
2. Install the Photo View channel.
3. Open “Photo View” and then sign in with your Google account.
4. Choose the album with the art piece or pieces you want to display.
5. Set “Photo View” as your Roku’s screensaver by clicking “Click Settings > ScreenSaver > Change ScreenSaver > Photo View option”.
6. Finally, you will want to adjust the amount of time before the ScreenSaver starts from Roku’s settings. To do that, click “Settings > ScreenSaver > Change wait time.

1.D  How to Add TV Art to an Apple TV:

1. Upload the art piece or pieces you have choses to an album in iCloud.
2. Next, turn on your iCloud integration in Photo stream when prompted.
3. Go to “ScreenSaver options” in Apple TV’s settings.
4. Click “Photos > iCloud.
5. Choose which album you would like to use.

OPTION 2:

 Display Art on a TV using YouTube:

The downside of the screen saver method is that it will only kick on after a certain amount of time.  If you want more control over when and for how long art is showing on your TV, then you may prefer using YouTube.  Essentially, you can display a chosen art piece by playing a video of a static image that lasts for an hour or more.  Here’s how to do it:

1. Make sure your smart TV is connected to the internet and that you have the free YouTube app installed.  If it’s not installed on your TV yet, you should e able to easily download it from you TV’s app store.
2. Choose the art you want to display.
3. Once you have chosen what you want to display, press play and voila! Your chosen digital art will be displayed in all its glory on your TV.
